HOLY SMACK,,, being the brainy-ack that I am I need someone to decode the decoding lingo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =) what does "coupon near product mean"? is that where it does not come in the mail, but would be available in the eisle? and what's Valassis (now known as Red Plum) Sunday supplement coupons? ok, I will just leave those two main questions for now, lol. thanks for all the info now,,,, I just have to compute it to my brain and hope it says in my memory. sigh.

CNP (coupon near product) is available in the isle, yes, usually either on a tearpad or one of those new dispenser thingies, or a blinkie.
There are usually three types of inserts in the Sunday Paper at various times - Smartsource, Redplum, and Proctor & Gamble. So R 7/13 means the coupon was in the Redplum insert on Sunday July 13th. It was only a couple of months ago that Valassis changed their name to Redplum.
