I routinely give pet food coupons away when I'm in the aisle, since I get way too many free kitty treats for mine to eat (and we have 15 at the moment) and only one dog to feed. People just light up when they can take free treats home to their pets!
Yesterday someone was at the Kodak Kiosk making her two free books, and I gave her two coupons (and explained how she was making six bucks) after she spent some time explaining the system to me. She was very excited and couldn't believe I was just giving them to her. (I had quite a few beyond my max and didn't want them to go to waste.)
Today as I was waiting to use the kiosk for my own books, I chatted with the lady using it. She already knew about the ECB. They were actually traveling through the state and stopped just to make a photobook to take to their destination! So I give her a coupon. Would you believe she actually came back and gave it BACK to me because her husband said it wouldn't work since it would create an overage! I was shocked, and tried to assure her it would work, but she didn't want to take the chance that it wouldn't print the ECB. Even the cashier was dismayed when I told him afterwards.
Have you had people refuse your coupons like that? That was a first for me.

I've given away coupons when I see people checking out a product that I have extra coupons for. Usually they're pretty excited, but one older gentleman looked dismayed when I handed a pickle coupon to him and explained that with the sale it made the pickles .75! He took the coupon, but I have no idea if he used it or not.
I've never had anyone refuse me. I did have a lady just about kiss me yesterday in Walmart when I handed her the Electrasol coupon (she had a coupon for the cascade gel packs and was looking very unhappy about how much they cost). LOL

Isn't it amazing how just a couple bucks can make someone's day?

I get lots of Publix penny item coupons too, those are fun to give away.

the only coupons I have given away are the $10 off at WinnDixie. I have gone into the grocery store a few times and have come out not spending the $100, therefore I don't get to redeem my $10 off, so I usually try and find someone to give it too. One time, I tried 4 different people before I found someone to take it - can you believe that!

I actually just gave away quite a few last night at Ralph's. I was getting in on the last day of some stuff. The lady in the isle when I got there had already emptied the shelves of a couple items I was going to grab. She said something about what a good buy she was getting and that she wished she had coupons to make it better... On the way out of the store she told me that she estimated that I saved her about twenty bucks... Can that be counted as coupon karma? Tell me yes...I need some.

Hmmm...and you DIDN'T curse her for clearing the shelves before you got there? Strange...
