Hi! I want to try the diaper deal at Walgreens this Friday but I'm so nervous! Nervous about the "double dipping." Why those dates to use both ES booklet coupons? I don't understand why Friday and Saturday are the days that I can possibly use them. Should I ask the manager before I get to the counter? Or just try when I'm up there? Also, do I try to get a bunch more of the RX booklets or will one booklet/coupon suffice? (I'd like to do the deal 7 or 8 times). Finally, can I do a bunch of transactions in a row, or should I come back a few times during those two days? ( I know not to use the RR or a new one won't print out...) Will someone help a sister out? What is your plan of attack? Thanks! Steph

The July ES coupon book ends Saturday, but the August one starts Friday - so the dates they are good only overlap for two days. You don't need more than one Rx book - they don't need to take it because it is a walgreens coupon. You can do more than one transaction in a row...but do it at the beauty counter and if there is a line behind you do one transaction then get back in line. Good luck!

You may need to go to more then one Wags, just b/c they may not have as many as you want in stock. I just got back from Wags and they did not even have 10 bags in all the sizes. Also you can start doing the deal now. One Q is in the pharmacy booklet and the other Q is in the July ES, you don't need the Aug. ES. As I just mentioned I just got back from Wags and the computer only would take 1 Q, so the deal would not work for me :-

I'm going to try Friday when the store opens, to see if they will scan both ES books plus the Rx coupon. If not, hopefully they will take two out of the three! Then I will go to one other store and try there.
I admit I'm worried about stock.

I'm just wondering how you can use BOTH ES coupons (Jul & Aug). Wouldn't that be improper coupon use because they are both for the same products? I really want to do this deal, but want to be prepared in case the cashier questions me.

If I recall correctly, corporate's answer about stacking both month ES Qs was up to the store itself. So sometimes they will, sometimes they won't.

I verified that my store WILL take both ES Qs on Friday, and they are holding all of their size 2, 3, and 4 diapers from their Thursday shipment for me! So I will clean out their shelves at 8am Friday morning, then have them pull what they held for me. With both ES Qs and the RR, I'll be making about 60c each package (after tax), and I'm gonna have her scan the pharmacy coupon each time, just in case. If that one takes it is just a bonus few bucks they will pay me. I should call the other store near me and see if they will also take both ES Qs...

Just wanted to report -- both es q's and the rx all worked together for me so I got to add $3'ish of whatever to each transaction and then pay tax. My totals were anywhere from 1.50-$3.50 w/ tax depending on what I bought. Plus, earned the $5 RR.
Also buying the mega box of wipes (400 ct) that were on clearance on my store worked great.
2 Jumbo's - $5.99/each 1 Wipes box - $6.29 (Clearance) if yours aren't on clearance the reg packs of 240 are 5.99
-$5 July ES, -$5 Aug ES, -$4 Rx (Wipes don't work on any of these coupons.
My total was $5.60 w/ tax.
So my FINAL count -- 108 Wags packs of diapers and 6 (400 ct) Wipes boxes for $20'ish dollars. That is a year and a half supply (Will get me until Jan 2010) for a toddler I plan to PT in 6 months and a newborn coming in 3 months! Wahoo! Not to mention included in that $20 I got stuff from the clearance rack: Alarm clock, 2 boxes of capri suns, purex detergent, emergency radio, 2 gatorades (I was thirsty!), bubbles, playground type ball, and 3 packs of Dixie paper cups.

None of the four Walgreens I went to would even give me the August ES. I bought diapers anyway since they are free with the ES and RX Qs (at least at three of the stores) so I figured I might as well get them. I'm going to my first store tomorrow to see if they really did hold those diapers they said they were, and hopefully the RX Q will work then, too. How did you use all three Qs together? Did you have to buy another item? Did they scan them in a certain order?

They should scan fine since they are all technically walgreens coupons. Just print the ESQ off the internet - it says right on there it is good. I found one tonight that was still in a box and the nice cashier gave it to me But she said that the IPQ would have worked just as well.
